Biography
My name is Michael Frawley, and I founded the New England Quarterback Academy in 2003. I was a former high school and collegiate quarterback; I currently train over 200 athletes annually in the New England area. I was fortunate to play quarterback for Matignon High School in Cambridge, MA., and Bentley University in Waltham, MA.
In college, I found myself in a unique position as a backup to an All-American quarterback. To gain more playing time, I made a bold transition to defense and played free safety. This unconventional move provided me with a rare opportunity to understand the game from both the offensive and defensive perspectives, enriching my knowledge and skills.
After my graduation, I was recruited by Cambridge, MA, to coach and work specifically with their quarterbacks. With my initial success, I expanded my coaching to include quarterbacks and wide receivers in small groups or private practices. Now, over 20 years later, I am proud to say that we are thriving and growing each year, a testament to the effectiveness of our training methods.
Along with running The Academy, I also coach with other football organizations to help coach and consult their QBs/WRs. These include, but are not limited to:
-
Mass Elite Football
-
New England Elite Football Clinics
-
Complete QB
-
QBR Football Camp (Ewing, NJ.)
-
Northeast Football Clinic
-
First Down Training
At the heart of our Academy is a mission to produce athletes who are fundamentally sound and adaptable to any offensive strategy, ready to be effective and efficient from the start. We instill in our players the importance of time-tested and proven fundamentals, guiding them to excel as skilled players. We believe it is not just practice that makes perfect; it is perfect practice that leads to perfection.
